Laparoscopic Anti-Reflux Surgery
Acid reflux can be treated with an operation to repair the gastro-oesphageal junction. This involves fixation of a hiatus hernia and an anti-reflux procedure to wrap the stomach around the oesophagus to prevent the upward flow of acid.

There are many different types of anti-reflux surgery. The type used is dependent on the patient health, symptoms and function of the oesophagus. These are best discussed in consultation with Mr. Lewis.
