Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the keyhole removal of your gallbladder. This is a highly effective procedure to cure the symptoms and complications of gallstones.

It is performed as a daycase procedure. Four small 'keyhole' incisions are made to allow the camera and instruments access to your abdomen. The gallbladder is then removed through the belly button.
